"I can't........" How many people say these words every day? I did and still do on some days, like today. It's human nature to limit ourselves, to dream the dream but leave it just as that, a dream, out of reach, to never be achieved. But what if we didn't limit ourselves? Take my son for example. My 4 year-old who was never supposed to be. Who was never supposed to talk much less be a red-stripe belt in Karate. By not limiting him at birth, he has been able to achieve so much more than anyone "dreamed" possible. That "dream" was not out of reach because as a parent, I didn't allow it to be.
I can't.............. I said that tonight while belt testing. Being so angry and frustrated I wanted to scream, I said "I can't pass this, move on" In reality, I probably could if I had stuck with it, but that's a fault of mine I will need to correct in the future...............Or next 7 days of belt testing, which ever comes first.
"Can't never could" Who hasn't heard this sentence? Could can't achieve if he tried?
I'm reminded of the story of Esther ( Esther 1 )
Iimagine what would have happened to the Jews if Esther said "I can't tell the king"
"Some people are born great, others become great, and some have greatness thrust upon them"
The question is: Which are you? Are you going to let "can't" limit you or achieve your greatness?
