I was watching a movie last night called "Without a Paddle" It's about three childhood friends going on an adventure they promised themselves and a fourth friend who recently died. They're searching for an adventurer's treasure. They do find the treasure, the adventurer was trapped in an old mining cave he fell into after he parachuted out of his plane. He burned his money trying to stay alive. The treasure the three friends found was "life, life is the treasure" But what really sticks out to me, is a line Burt Reynolds had, "You can lose your money. You can spend it - all of it. Maybe work hard, get it all back. But if you waste your time, you're never gonna get it back." It was odd to me hearing such a line from a comedy, but when you stop and think about it, it makes sense. You can always make money. You can always mend relationships, you can meet new people and make new relationships, but the one thing that stands constant is time. You can never make up time, once it's gone, it's gone.
My thoughts: I know it's a cliche and I've said it time and time again, but it always comes back to this one thing "Life is short, make the most of it while you have it. LIVE, smile, and have fun. Don't regret anything you've done, because your past events make you the person you are today.
