Worry is an emotion that we all feel at some point in our lives. I do it on a daily basis, but I didn't have the best role models in the world. Dads mom worried about everything, in turn dad worried about everything, in turn I worry about everything, I find that David is starting to worry over little things as well. It's time to break the cycle.
Why do we worry? Does worrying change the outcome of the thing you're worried about? No. So why worry?
Example: I'm not entirely sure I turned off the iron. I worry all the way to karate. By the time I get there, did the worry turn off the iron? Or did it succeed in stressing me out?
Let's look at the effects of worry. Worry causes stress, and stress can cause problems from migraines to heart disease. Anxiety attacks which look and feel like heart attacks happen when you are under too much stress. Your blood pressure goes too high and can cause a stroke or heart attack.
My thoughts: This Bible verse is right when it says that you can't add years to your life, so why worry about the little things?
